Master Industry-Standard Tools and Techniques
In our introductory courses, you’ll gain hands-on experience with essential software and technologies to create and manipulate music. Courses are taught using Logic Pro, although faculty also have experience with Ableton, Pro Tools, and other digital audio workstations (DAWs). Learn to navigate DAWs, explore the fundamentals of sound design, and create interactive compositions using groundbreaking software. With a focus on real-world application, these courses provide the technical foundation to produce professional-quality tracks and unlock new creative possibilities in music production.
Certificate in Music Production
Juilliard Extension’s Certificate in Music Production delivers an immersive, project-based curriculum designed for aspiring producers and composers. This 12-credit program spans a wide spectrum of techniques, from scoring for visual media to crafting genre-specific tracks. Students engage with cutting-edge technologies, learn to collaborate with visual artists, and produce original compositions for recorded formats and live performances. Through direct mentorship and real-world projects, the certificate equips students with both the creative and technical tools to excel in recorded and live music.
