OPMUS 411-412 — Opera Studies

Prerequisite: OPMUS 311-312 . As assigned by the department, students participate in full opera productions and opera scenes, in a variety of styles, from early music to modern, designed to prepare students for rehearsals and performances in the professional world. Preparation includes extensive language, music, and dramatic coaching, culminating in performances for the Juilliard community. Opera Chorus is an essential component of Opera Studies. Required of all fourth- and fifth-year undergraduates.
