Tailored for both newcomers and seasoned theatergoers, this course invites you to explore the most captivating New York theater of fall 2026, showcasing an exciting blend of new musicals, plays and revivals on and Off-Broadway. Each week, students will study a variety of productions, analyzing their source texts and diving into lively discussions about their history, creators, and cultural impact. Through dynamic lectures, video and audio excerpts, and guest artist appearances, you’ll uncover the deeper layers of each work. Along the way, the course will introduce you to hidden gems of the city—discovering new venues and neighborhoods that enrich your theater-going experience.

Students enrolled in the course will be eligible to receive one complimentary ticket to Juilliard Drama’s Fall 2026 production (title & date TBD), subject to availability.
