Juilliard Extension offers violin and strings classes for anyone wishing to learn a new instrument. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, our world-class faculty will help you to develop the mastery and skills needed to achieve your goals. Violin classes are taught in small groups of maximum 8 students.

Fundamentals of Violin - No application is needed for this course. Registration is open to all. Visit the registration page to enroll.
Fundamentals of Violin II or Violin Group Class - These courses are permission-only, with enrollment by invitation from faculty.
