EVCRT 413 - Advanced Composition (In Person and Online) Conrad Cummings, Evan Fein, Derek Weagle Advanced Composition offers experienced composers the chance to develop larger, more ambitious works. Students deepen their compositional skills, explore diverse approaches and aesthetics, and continue shaping their own artistic voices. Assignments may unfold over half or full semesters, and projects are workshopped and read by Juilliard College Division instrumentalists and vocalists. Students are expected to work with greater artistic independence, producing substantial works that demonstrate advanced formal thinking, orchestration, and technical fluency.
