EVDIV 59 - Ballet Monday & Ballet Thursday Ellie Kusner Welcome to Ballet Monday and Thursday, where you will explore the art of ballet and improve your physical and mental wellbeing. Each class will commence with barre work that progressively builds ballet steps and finesses your ballet technique. The center work in Ballet M will focus on adagio, where you will learn slow, controlled, elegant phrases that develop leg extensions, and pirouettes, where you will study how to turn with precision and ease. In Ballet Th, the center work will concentrate on waltzing, where you will glide gracefully through space, and allegro, where you will practice jumps in various sizes and forms. Together, these two sections will offer a comprehensive ballet experience.
Throughout the course, you will learn ballet terminology, develop specific ballet skills and improve your balance, strength, coordination. Class is supported by live piano accompaniment which will help to enhance your sense of musicality. Our classes are designed for beginner to intermediate levels, but we welcome and accommodate dancers of ALL experience levels, from absolute beginners to advanced. Our classroom atmosphere is joyful, social, and mindful, focused on having fun while challenging yourself to learn and grow. Join us and experience the beauty and benefits of ballet!
