Welcome to the Juilliard Extension Catalog for High School Students!
Juilliard Extension is proud to welcome high school students from around the world to take part in our college-level music theory and ear training courses. Designed for students ages 14–18, these classes span a wide range of topics—from fundamental concepts to advanced musicianship—helping young artists deepen their musical skills and build a solid foundation for future study.
Whether you are just beginning your theory journey or preparing for AP exams and college-level proficiency, our courses meet you where you are. Students study online and should expect meaningful coursework outside of class hours to support continued growth and development. Select classes also qualify for college credit, giving students a head start on their higher education goals.

Welcome Center Details:
We invite all Juilliard Extension students to visit our Welcome Center, located at Juilliard’s 155 West 65th Street entrance on the street level, to the right of the elevators as you walk in.
Hours of Operation:
Monday–Thursday, 1–5pm (in-person)
Phone hours: Monday–Thursday, 9am–Noon and 1–5pm
