Nathan Prillaman
This course introduces the compositional and production techniques essential for creating music in today’s evolving sonic landscape. Through weekly hands-on exercises, they will explore contemporary approaches to composition and arrangement across various musical genres. Additional topics include synthesizer programming, sound wave identification, the history of music technology, and an introduction to AI in music production. Classes are centered around practical software training and interactive group discussions, with a final project offering students an opportunity to integrate their newly acquired skills with their individual musical interests.
