EVDIV 56 - Composition Intensive

This three-session intensive provides an opportunity to concentrate on your composing work over the summer. You’ll have the chance to hear readings of your work, benefit from critique, and explore the music of up-and-coming composers in the U.S. and abroad. During the first two weeks of June, you’ll receive the specifications for a compositional exercise that will be developed throughout the intensive. Class meetings will include readings of excerpts and a final reading of your completed piece.Extensive preparation before and during the intensive is expected.
