EVDIV 231 - Voice Class/Solid Singing for Every Performer (In Person or Online)

In this course students learn vocal technique, performance skills, and are introduced to the vast vocal literature of art song, opera, oratorio, and musical theater. Each class begins with a vocal warm-up, and the remaining time is spent on the repertoire assigned to each individual singer. Students are assigned repertoire that will best facilitate their development as a singer/performer. Designed to address the needs of singers at all stages of development, these classes comprise singers selected from auditions and placed according to ability and experience.

This course requires an online application to be considered for placement. Application deadline: Tuesday, April 29 at 5pm ET.

Faculty will place students into the class they believe is the best fit for their needs.
