Vibrant Legacies in Theater examines many of the world’s most influential theater artists and movements, performance styles, and pieces of dramatic literature ranging across time and space. Topics include: Western drama’s origins in 5^th c. BCE Athens; performance cultures in India and Asia; the 19^th-century rise of theatrical realism; the contemporary scene in the United States; and much more.
