A course for students with creative ability who show a genuine aptitude for and serious interest in composition. Individualized projects designed to explore compositional issues give way to the writing and discussing of a substantial work per semester culminating in a performance on the course’s Double Vision concert. Students receive individual attention in an open-lesson format. With permission of the instructor.
