Vibrant Legacies in Theater examines many of the world’s most influential plays, playwrights, actors, directors, critics, and theatrical experiments. This course will explore topics such as Western drama’s origins in 5^th-century Athens, performance cultures in Asia, modern realism in Russia, the contemporary landscape in the United States and South Africa, and more.
