EVDIV 066 - The Michael Chekhov Technique
This class is for performers interested in learning the basics of this internationally known method and for those who have experience with it. Through imagination, this psychophysical approach develops tools for expression and connection with acting partners and the audience as well as the relationship between emotions and the physical body to transform oneself for performance. In class, these tools will be explored with and without text. By the end of the semester, students will have an understanding of how to put this technique into practice.
