This course builds upon the conceptual foundation provided in the fall course and moves to project-based assignments where students engage with the key challenges of managing a jazz ensemble or organization, including marketing, interdisciplinary collaboration, production, and funding models. The class is team-taught by key administrative staff from Jazz at Lincoln Center.
