Studying piano offers a rich and deeply rewarding musical experience, whether students are just beginning their journey or seeking to refine advanced skills. From classical to jazz, Juilliard Extension’s piano and chamber music courses are designed to support a wide range of interests and levels. Students develop essential skills in technique, musicianship, interpretation, and ensemble collaboration, while gaining confidence and expressive depth at the keyboard or in a small group setting.
Fundamentals of Piano courses offer a supportive introduction to the basics, with no prior experience required, while summer Piano Symposium and Jazz Piano Intensive provide focused instruction for those looking to sharpen their artistry and performance practice. Across the program, students benefit from Juilliard’s expert faculty and the opportunity to grow in a dynamic, collaborative learning environment.
