Resources and Special Offerings

The Juilliard School places great value in the intellectual curiosity fueled by academic pursuits and the liberal arts. The Lila Acheson Wallace Library serves as a comprehensive resource for the Juilliard community’s research and performance needs. Special academic opportunities, such as Barnard/Columbia Cross Registration and independent study in the Liberal Arts, allow for particularly advanced students to expand their educational horizons. Innovative programs such as Mentoring encourage students to explore areas outside their major disciplines. For students with special needs, the Office of Academic Support Services provides individualized counseling and assistance in order to maximize their academic success and persistence to graduation.
