This certificate program is designed for students who seek a rigorous course of study in essential music skills. All courses in the Core Musical Skills (C.M.S.) certificate program match in content and delivery undergraduate courses in the Juilliard College Division, and require significant preparation outside of class time. Students who complete the program gain a solid grounding in practical knowledge that is necessary for all musicians.
The C.M.S. certificate is designed to be completed within a two-year period, but students are allowed to take up to four years to complete it.
Students must obtain a grade of C or higher in each course in order to fulfill the requirements of the program.
The Evening Division is a non-matriculated program. We do not offer scholarships, federal, or state funding.
