EVCRT 463/464 — Choral Conducting
Conductors must be effective in communicating musical ideas to and with their performing ensembles. In this course, students develop technique through facial expression, breathing, alignment, and gesture. Students have the opportunity to conduct singers in class, receive constructive feedback, and evaluate their own conducting. Emphasis is placed on developing and refining a process of score study which prepares students to make informed conducting decisions. Placement interview required.
13 weeks and 2 credits per semester

$1,050 plus $125 musician Fee per semester
