EVCRT 421 — Music Theory and Analysis V: 20th Century and Beyond
This course offers a broad introduction to the analysis of post-tonal music. Topics of study include extended tonality and the rise of new tonalities; scales and collections; and principles of set theory and classic serialism. Placement interview required.
