EVDIV 515 — Music Production

This course provides a survey of the electronic music production techniques most frequently used by composers, arrangers, and producers in the recording industry. Students study works of other composers, compose their own works, and receive guidance and feedback. Topics of study also include arranging for electronic instruments, microphones and basic recording techniques, mixing skills, and the   use of signal processing devices. Homework includes creative projects as well as listening assignments. Basic Mac knowledge and placement interview required.​
