EVCRT 321/322 — Ear Training III

Evan Fein
Building on the concepts of Ear Training II, this advanced course focuses on atonal sight-reading; complex rhythmic performance; recognition and singing of seventh chords in all qualities and inversions; three-voice melodic and harmonic dictations; and four-part chord progressions with modulation. This course uses all of the seven clefs — treble, bass, soprano, alto, tenor, mezzo-soprano, and baritone — and is especially recommended for composers and conductors. Prerequisites: Ear Training II or the equivalent; fluency in treble, bass, soprano, alto, and tenor clefs. Placement interview required.
