EVCRT 221/222 — Ear Training II
Fundamental skills are reinforced as more advanced topics are gradually introduced in this course. These include: performance and dictation in soprano, alto, and tenor clefs; rhythmic subdivision of five and seven equal parts to the beat; mixed meter; resolving intervals; recognition and singing of all triad qualities and inversions; dictations in two parts; four-part chord progressions; basic score reading. Prerequisite: Ear Training I or equivalent. Placement interview required.
